100 Exciting Posters
Eine plakative Zeitreise im öffentlichen Raum
(A Striking Journey through Time in Public Space)

Exhibition

This exhibition, part of the Kunst der Verführung (The Art of Enticement) series, is dedicated to the effect and design of posters, incorporating historical documents and examples of contemporary visual communication. It demonstrates their influence on society and culture and is aimed at anyone interested in graphic design, advertising, and interventions in public space.

The exhibition’s subjects come from a variety of collections and sources. The show presents a cross-section taken from our 100-year history of posters and closes a gap in our domestic cultural landscape: although many poster museums exist all over the world, Graz—a UNESCO City of Design—still lacks such an institution.
