Cantando Admont
Adriana Hölszky / Younghi Pagh-Paan / Charlotte Seither / Elisabeth Harnik
The International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM), founded in Salzburg, is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. The ISCM already collaborated with the musikprotokoll on the occasion of its 50th anniversary; now, in 2022, we join together to present a gala concert that focuses on the work of women composers. The internationally renowned vocal ensemble Cantando Admont, founded and directed by Cordula Bürgi, is marking its festival debut with this concert. The program includes the premiere of a work by Styrian composer Elisabeth Harnik, who set to music a poem by the Ukrainian author Iryna Shuvalova. The concert is accompanied by an exhibition on the history of the ISCM, located in the foyer of the Helmut List Halle.
